It may just be me, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to save music or video files on my PSP Memory Stick. I’ve read and reread the directions…but I still can’t seem to get it to work!
Can somebody explain it to me in SIMPLE terms. Thanks in advance for your help.
this is all assuming you have already formated you memory stick using the PSP (it should be done already; it’s just a warning)
Okay, you must get a usb cable.
Connect the cable to your computer and psp
on the home menu in your psp, go to the very left and go down a couple of times. select ‘usb connection’. your psp should now be connected to your computer. if you have windows xp (home or pro) there should be a new drive under my computer. Double click on it
Let’s just assume it was E drive (E:). be warned, it is different on different computers.
Once you’re inside E:, you’ll see two folders, MP_ROOT and PSP. You’re interest in PSP. double click. now, you should see about five or six folders. double-click on MUSIC. put all your mp3′s in here. the psp will recognize them automatically.
videos are much more difficult. bear with me for a few moments here. the psp only plays 4-layer mpeg files. these are NOT your standard video files. the 4-layer mpeg files have a file extension of .mp4. on top of that, they have to be named in a pattern the PSP will recognize and must accompany another file, all placed in the MP_ROOT folder.
Don’t worry there are programs out there for free that make all this painless. pspvideo9 is such an example. google it

I was wrong about whether, but the Xbox 360 and Wii .. Xbox 360 seems more convenient to use and has lots of variety of games to choose .. or what do you think?
360 has best options for all these genres. music games, has a downloadable content and new songs every week. Wii games are not horror, which has more options and series they are both on the 360 has better options. Silent Hill and Dead Space pefect examples. RPGs are eh, I can not go with a decent RPG Wii is not just a Wii downloads Ware with an old game you might get a rom ….. There really is no reason to go with a Wii for one of the things you want.
